Paul van der Mark joined the staff of the Research Computing Center in 2007 after finishing his postdoctoral research in the Computational Evolutionary Biology group at Florida State University. He has worked on several aspects of the center and has overseen daily operations for many years.

Paul has been fascinated by clusters, parallel programming and compiler technology since his undergraduate study. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands.
