Spear Login - RSA Host Key Changing

Greetings Spear Users,

We will be updating the SSH hostkeys on the Spear servers today. This could result in failed connections with a "possible dns spoofing detected" error message. To fix this, you will need to update or remove the cached key from your client. Instructions for doing so are on our website: https://rcc.fsu.edu/docs/how-update-host-keys.

The fingerprint for the new RSA keys is: 2b:21:b4:3c:92:db:b1:89:8a:70:0f:6d:f9:10:7b:25.

The reason we are doing this is because the RSA keys on the Spear servers have been out of sync for some time now. This has caused trouble for people attempting to login using the spear-login.rcc.fsu.edu or spear-gpu.rcc.fsu.edu DNS addresses. After we update the keys today, this issue will be resolved.

The RSA host key for spear-login has changed,
and the key for the corresponding IP address 144.174.61.7
is unknown. This could either mean that
DNS SPOOFING is happening or the IP address for the host
and its host key have changed at the same time.
