UPDATE Wed Jan 27 - We have received an updated schedule from the contractors.  We will need to start shutting systems off at 8am on April 29 instead of 5pm, as previously reported.

We now have more details about the Sliger Renovation Project, which has already begun:

• RCC Systems and Data Center staff are coordinating with FSU Facilities on this project.
• A full system outage is scheduled from April 29 through May 4. We will update you with any changes and delays accordingly.
  • The work is scheduled to start on Thurs, April 29 at 5pm (update: 8am) and complete no later than Tues, May 4 at 5pm.  However, this is subject to change; RCC will make every effort to keep you notified of changes to this schedule.
  • All RCC services will be offline during this period. Details will be sent out on our notice list and posted on our website.
  • We've reached out to affected departments to coordinate temporary power for customers who have equipment in the facility. If you have equipment in the Sliger data center and need clarification on the outage, please let us know.
• The full renovation project is scheduled to complete on August 28.
