Extended Warranty Request Form

Many Information Technology Service (ITS) divisions elect to extend server hardware warranties beyond what manufacturers initially offer, and the Research Computing Center (RCC) currently administers third-party warranty service for approximately a hundred ITS servers at multiple Campus locations.

If you already have equipment under warranty through RCC, and wish to remove service, replace equipment or change coverage type, please send a detailed email to mgans@fsu.edu.

If you are an ITS entity and would like to obtain a quote for warranty service for your equipment through the end of the current fiscal year, please fill in the appropriate information requested below, and we will personally follow up with you.

Coverage Types:


Telephone support available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. On-site hardware maintenance within four hours of the time Provider receives the initial service request/support call unless the support call is resolved by phone support.


Telephone support available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time (excluding holidays). On-site hardware maintenance for the Covered Equipment on the next business day following the date on which Provider receives the initial service request.
